A New Pineapple Cultivar 'Yueyinaoka'
'Yueyinaoka' is a new pineapple cultivar bred by the Institute of Fruit Tree Research, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The leaf margin of 'Yueyinaoka' is smooth. The fruit is big and upright. The flesh is juicy, tender, and smooth with less fiber. It is also sweet with a fresh aroma. The total soluble solids content is 16.4%~18.6%. In 2010, 'Yueyinaoka' has been examined and approved as a new cultivar of pineapple by the Guangdong Crop Variety Approval Committee.
